04:09 pm - Shave your head for art!
I am looking a woman who is willing to shave their head (or cut their hair very short) for a short, experimental film. The scene will be done in a bathtub so comfort with partial/full nudity is a plus but not necessary.

The project is going to be shot the weekend of March 1st (exact
day/time is flexible). I can't pay, but copy and credit will be provided as well as transportation (we will be shooting in New York, NY) and snacks for the shoot. The crew is small and the shoot will be laid back, fun, and creative.

Please email me for more details or if interested-

10:39 am - Visitng from Alaska
Hey, I am planning a trip to New York from Anchorage Alaska in mid-May for my 26th birthday, and will only be in the city for a few days. I've been to New York before, about four years ago, but this time I will be visiting on my own and am looking for some ideas of where to go and hang out. I have a ticket to see the Yankees play the day of my birthday (yes, I am a diehard Yankees fan, which is actually the point of my trip), but for the rest of the time I've got a couple of places I'd like to see, but mostly I want to avoid the "touristy" things and settle in and do things and go places that the people who live in New York do and go to. If ya'all could point me in some intersting directions I would be very grateful.

See ya!

Hello! I am very new at this. I think photos convey so much in a single frame. They can turn you on, emote feelings, capture the world. I would like to use my digital camera to capture the human body (specifically men). I want try stylize my photos from many different eras and have the person be the center of it.

Also being in the tri-state area, I want to try to get as many races, ages, heights as I can. I am open to ideas (themes, styles, etc). I am a poor college student and as of now we can try to find a place to go (I do not have access to one) and I can only offer pictures for posing. Let me know.

Looking for team players. Uninhibited men. please share your ideas and wisdom. it should be a great experience. We would all get to grow as artists.

Any age/prefernce welcome

Hi all,

Ok, I need some advice...

My birthday is mid-December. I want to do my birthday party in a bar/lounge type place.

Last year, I did it at The Skinny, on Orchard Street, and it was perfect. It was before the place got popular (it was shortly after it opened, I think, actually), and we were allowed to block off a section without having to rent it (ie: pay, lol), and the drinks were cheap.

I'd like a similiar situation this year -- a bar/lounge type place, where it's cool, but not too popular (I'd like to do it on a Saturday night, and I don't want it to be so crowded that it defeats the purpose of us all being together). Inexpensive is important, a lot of my friends are musicians or students, so no one has a lot of money to throw around. Definetly not a club or venue, something sorta fun like a hookah lounge or juke box/arcade type thing would be ok though, but I'm totally not against a really funky dive bar.

As for location, I live in Brooklyn, but tend to hang out in the lower east side of manhattan a lot. I would want to do it either on the lower east side or east village (or maybe soho or tribeca area if there was something cool)...OR, I was considering doing it in Brooklyn, but if there, in Park Slope -- that's easy to commute to from both the city and within Brooklyn, so it's ideal for a cross-section of my friends.

I was actually considering the Tea Lounge in Park Slope, I know it's more of a coffee/wine/beer place than a bar, but I love the atmosphere there so much. But, I know that place gets super crowded, so if I was to have a group of about 20-25 people there, there's no way that would work out...but maybe if someone knows something LIKE that, it'd be an option?

I know I'm throwing way too many thoughts out there...that's why i'm so in need of advice :)
